The Aesthetics of Research invites submissions from Chicago-area community artists of thriftstore re-imaginings. Don't quite know what to do to that Home Interiors landscape print? Swimming in your grandmother's Precious Moments inspirational plaques? Have a passion for thrifting strange decor? We want to see what you can do with it and make it your own. Drawing, Painting, Collage, Sculpture--all media welcome!

Please send .jpeg or .png files of 1-5 images to kbowen@colum.edu for consideration.
If your artwork is chosen to be a part of the exhibition, the work will need to be dropped off at the library's first floor circulation desk during the week of February 8th-12th.
Post show pick up will occur April 1-6th.
