Join us for our very first Preludes: Listening Session and Discussion w/ Rylan Freidhof

The Aesthetics of Research invites you to our monthly series of listening sessions for selected student musical releases. We’d like to showcase the talent/artistry in the CCC community, promote & build the Library’s music collection, and generate discussion on musical influences.   

Rylan Freidhof is a Junior studying Marketing at Columbia College Chicago. He  is also a musician, producer, and DJ. At his previous school, Iowa State University, Rylan helped curate a community of music producers, based in hip-hop and electronic production, hosting local events and parties unlike anything else in town. 

He currently makes music under the name Space Ca$h. Rylan has been producing music on his computer for more than 2 years. His sound has narrowed into an avenue he likes to call 'Future Soul.' Hip-Hop based future beats, electronic influenced funk, and trap.
