coming this fall!

Join us for one of three sessions to prep for the Gathering Parade, a city-wide event in Grant Park featuring Chicago’s creative communities. We’ll explore various techniques and approaches, including large-scale backpack and stilt puppets, paper masks and hand-held puppets. We will also have various materials and resources available in the library for inspiration, instruction, and affordable supply leads.

Session Times:
Thursday, September 15, 6–9 p.m.
Thursday, September 29, 6–9 p.m.
Thursday, October 13, 6–9 p.m.

The Aesthetics of Research is an ongoing project dedicated to exploring the role that libraries and their collections play in artistic process, creative community building, and resource-sharing in the arts.
