Uncanny Specimens | Day 19 | Rebecca Memoli

We are getting ready for next week's Artist Panel by introducing you to some of the amazing artists who will be joining us next Monday night, from 6-8pm on the 5th Floor of the Library.


Rebecca Memoli is a Chicago based photographer.  She received her BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute in 2006 and stayed in New York City for eight years after.  In that time she co-founded The Blood Dumpster artist collective in Brooklyn, NY.  With the Blood Dumpster and independently she has curated five group exhibitions at various venues in Brooklyn and Queens including three at Local Project in Long Island City.  Her work has been shown in many galleries throughout the US and in Chile.  She has had three solo exhibitions including one at the New York Public Library, Mulberry Branch.  

Rebecca now lives in Chicago, IL.  She works freelance shooting events and studio portraits and is currently attending Columbia College studying her MFA in Photography.
