This semester, we are joining Library As Incubator's BOOK TO ART Club. Our first book? Grimm's Fairytales! The perfect set of tales for your autumn bookworm tendencies. On November 8th, we'll be getting together to talk about what we've read and work on art projects inspired by the tales! We'll also be pulling together our own handmade volume featuring the tales and attendant artwork, which we'll be working on through the rest of the academic year.
!) hunt down a copy of Grimm Tales (an edition will do..) We have a few in the library or available through Interlibrary Loan.
2) brainstorm some creative project ideas as you read
3) Come to our READ, TALK, MAKE session on November 8th to discuss & play with some techniques and work on projects...
