Columbia College Library and The Aesthetics of Research Project, which is dedicated to exploring the role libraries play in the creative process, announces its second annual Little Indie Press Festival on Friday, October 21st, from 3pm-7pm (during the Wabash Arts Crawl). Featuring many manifestations of Independent publishing, including indie literature, comics, zines, and book arts, the festival seeks to bring together all manner of publishers under one roof to celebrate the spirit of independent publishing , including a publisher’s showcase, readings, zine making and more. 

We are currently accepting table registrations in our Publisher's Showcase for participating presses, artists, publications, and organizations Registration is free of charge, but table space is limited, so apply early to make sure you get a spot. We welcome participants from all corners of the independent publishing world, including small presses/serial publications, zinesters, undergrounds comics, and book artists. While preference will be given to those publisher’s and organizations that are in some way Columbia-affiliated, all Chicago-area community publications and organizations are invited to take part.
