Salon Series featuring Carleen Tibbetts and Russell Jaffe this Wednesday Night!





Carleen Tibbetts is the author of the chapbooks "a starving music will come to eat the body" (FiveQuarterly) and "to exosk(elle), the last sugar" (Zoo Cake Press). Recent work appears in TAGVVERK, Datableed, Deluge, The Offending Adam, Dreginald, LaVague, and jubilat, among others. With Isobel O'Hare, she co-edits the experimental journal Dream Pop.


Russell Jaffe edits TL;DR magazine (tldrmagazine.com) & films educational literary study guides for Course Hero & teaches at Loyola University & Fusion Academy. He is the author of a few books of poetry, most recently LA CROIX WATER (Damask, '16). His book Civil Coping Mechanisms is forthcoming from Civil Coping Mechanisms.

The Aesthetics of Research Salon Series is a regular schedule of readings / discussions with Columbia & Chicago Community authors about their work and the materials/ inspirations from which that work springs, with a particular eye toward how libraries and research in particular inform and support the creative process.
